Find of the Month

We have a table for finds of the month where by members can place their items on the table, these items will be judged into two sometimes or three catagories, these catagories include : coins, artefacts, or an unspecifiyed category which we feel deserves reconition.

The monthly winning items are photographed and descriptions recorded, at the end of the year a member from the gressenhall archaeological unit picks ot the overal winners of the three catogories.

The items are normally judged on their condition and availability or  occasionally their signifigance. Each  year the winners of these catogories receive a trophy and a gift token.
